Dumfries & Gallloway College
Design & construction of a 3 storey FE college south of Dumfries. This is Scotland's first multi-institutional campus with delegates from the Universities of Glasgow and Paisley, Bell College and Dumfries & Galloway College.
The Fibre ‘C' rainscreen cladding system was designed to emulate the existing Victorian sandstone whilst providing a natural ventilation system to help reduce carbon emissions & energy costs working in tandem with the engineered thermal model allowing heating & cooling to be tailored to the users' needs
We installed over 5000 square metres of the Fibre ‘C' rainscreen plus the other cladded walls including Zinc and Copper. We also carried out all of the roofing works including Sarnafil Single Ply membrane, Permaquik Hot Melt roofing and an Ashzip laquered effect smooth aluminium standing seam system with both straight sheets and tapered/welded sheets.
