We were chosen to complete these 2 schools projects as a result of our experience working with flat roofing, cladding systems and perimeter detailing as a combined package.
Although originally envisaged as aluminium standing seam they were changed to single ply due to the complex layout of the buildings, becoming far simpler to execute without the need for tapered sheets and on site aluminium welding.
Due to the layout of the roofs, we assisted in the design and implementation of the first Fatra single ply roofing system with a sidelap fixing which was the best option aesthetically.
The two schools had a combined package value in excess of £1.8m and were completed concurrently.
Thanks to their successful completion we have moved on to carry out various other projects with Laing O'Rourke and look forward to a continued mutually beneficial relationship.
